Town East Christian School
Town East Christian School was founded in 1969 by Dr. Joe West and the members of Town East Baptist Church. The school ministry started with just a Kindergarten. The second floor of the educational building was completed in 1970. Grades 1 - 8 were added in 1974, then later the High School was added. TECS held its first Senior Graduation in 1975. Town East is presently operating at two different locations. Grades K4 - 2 are located at the Hwy. 87 Campus. Grades 3 - 12 operate at the old Bible Street Campus. The school is a ministry of Town East Baptist Church.
